The current IT economy in India may be affected by currency fluctuations. The IT companies in India mainly rely on outsourcing businesses. The great part of revenues to these companies is resulted through the outsourcing its businesses. The top companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc outsource their business to US, UK, Germany, Italy etc.
The recent fluctuation in currency may affect the business of these IT companies. These companies earn 25% of their revenues from these countries. The foreign exchange affects these businesses a lot. The depreciation of rupees to dollar affects the IT economy. The recent depreciation in Euro may affect IT companies a lot because these IT companies do 23% of their business from European countries.
Many companies in Europe are still trying to survive from the downturn. They are quite cautious while doing business. The depreciation in Euro to Dollar will result less valuation to the products and services provided by these companies.
The companies provide salaries to its employees, trainees and workers. The companies spend a lot on its expenditure. The balance between the expenditure and revenues may be affected by the currency fluctuation.
The government should keep an eye on the foreign exchange and must put efforts to make the balance of foreign exchanges so that Indian IT companies are not affected by this economic activity.
